UET Lahore declares the ECAT entrance test 2013 results

Lahore, The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore has declared the result of the combined entrance test 2013 also known as ECAT. According to the notification the results were declared on Sunday and can be seen at the following link as well as the UET website.

In this regard students can also submit the rechecking applications on the given form till August 30, 2013.  After the due date no application will be accepted in the Convener's Office.

More than 45,000 aspirants appeared in the entrance test for BSc engineering across the Punjab province for around 5,000 seats. Entrance test was conducted at UET Lahore, UET Taxila, College of Engineering Islamia University Bahawalpur, College of Engineering BZU Multan, NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research Faisalabad, Siddeeq Public School Satellite Town Rawalpindi, University of Gujrat, Government College of Technology Rasul, UET Lahore’s Kala Shah Kaku Campus, Dr AQ Khan Institute of Technology Mianwali and LGU Lahore.

As many as 11748 aspirants took the test at Peshawar Center and in engineering category around 11384 candidates appeared while in Computer Science Group around 364 candidates appeared.

At Abbottabad Centre a total of 1207 candidates took the test out of which 1180 candidates took the test for engineering group, while 27 applicants appeared for computer science group while at Swat Centre, 2045 applicants’ tool the test and 2025 applicants appeared for engineering programs, and 20 applicants for Computer Science group. Overall 522 female applicants and 14478 male applicants took the test in all centers.
