UET Announces New Policy For ECAT Undergraduate Admission 2020

The University Of Engineering and Technology, UET is a well-known name in offering quality education in engineering faculties. The university is offering admission in almost all the major engineering faculties. For the undergraduate admission session of 2020, UET announces a new policy. UET admission schedule followed the declaration of 2^nd year result of intermediate classes by the boards of intermediate and secondary education, BISEs. Students were offered admission late as compared to other competitive colleges and universities. These competitive engineering institutes offered admission based on 1^st year marks or results. However, these colleges and universities charged heavy tuition fees from the students and offered start study session without waiting for the 2^nd year result of the students.

However, students who complete their enrolment in such a competitive or private institute and also subsequently get admission in UET undergo a major problem of financial loss because the institutes do not offer a fee refund policy. 

UET Online Entry Test 2020

This is the first time going to happen that university is conducting UET online entry test 2020 for almost all the undergraduate programs with engineering subjects. Students who are asking about the UET entry test 2020 date are informed that right after the ending of the intermediate 2^nd year examination session, the university will conduct the online entrance test. For this purpose, an MoU has signed by the UET with Virtual University, VU for conducting the online test at the designated campuses of VU in Punjab.

The university has declared that the decision will assist students to take enrolment in their desired institute. However, this will also help the lower and lower middle class family students to get better higher education options. A statement has also declared that all the affiliated colleges of UET will also follow the same rule.
