Lahore: It is hereby notified that University of Engineering and Technology (UET) is going to conduct combined entry test for entry in BSc engineering, BSc engineering technology and in the other relevant programs on July 16th, 2017.

The university will accept the applications from the interested candidates who wish to appear in this ECAT test 2017 from second week of June.

For this purpose, all the candidates are advised to prepare the following documents to avoid any sort of inconvenience while submitting entry test application forms and appearing in this test.


o   Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or B-Form issued to the candidate by NADRA.

o   If the candidate is less than 18 years of age, then he/she is required to prepare official photo identification such as matric/inter certificate having photo, or computerized domicile certificate containing a photo, or a passport / statement of entry in case of “A” level students.


Required documents along with ECAT test Application form:

Students who are planning to appear in ECAT test 2017 conducted by UET for the admission in engineering programs are advise to prepare the following documents in advance to attach along with the application form.


o   Domicile Certificate

o   CNIC or B-Form issued by NADRA

o   Diploma, certificate, degree or the detailed marks sheet of all the previous exams on the basis of which the admission is required i-e. HSSC, Diploma of Associate engineer (DAE), BSc, B.Tech (Pass).

o   Six recent passport size photos

o   The candidate having equivalent foreign qualification (such as O/A levels) must get equivalent certificates from Inter board committee of chairmen (IBCC) offices which are located in the major cities of Pakistan.

o   If you are a candidate who is applying against the reserved seats for the children of foreign Pakistanis (Class S and SI), then you are required to submit the following documents. The orphans can also apply against the reserved seats, if they are supported by their, real brother, real maternal uncle, real parental uncle working abroad.

o   Completely filled Form-VIII of the guardian of a candidate along with the photocopy of valid resident or residence permit attested by the Embassy of Pakistan in the respective foreign state.

The sponsored orphans are also required to submit the following documents:


1)      Death certificate of Father issued by NADRA

2)      Proof of relationship along with guardian in the form of CNIC of all family members and NADRA family registration certificate (FRC) underlining the family tree structure of the candidate

3)      Photocopy of Nikahnama in case the guardian is the maternal uncle of the candidate.

Important Note for candidates:


ü  Scanned or faxed photocopies of corticated and visa or residence permit shall not be accepted.
