Shangla: On Monday, 2 aspirants were electrocuted while hoisting the national flag when the metal flagstaff touched a live power line in the public sector primary school, Piza Puran.
The SHO of Aloch police station Sher Hassan Khan told the media sources that incident occurred when an Independence Day programme was happening in the school in Puran tehsil.

The 2 students were identified as 9 years old Rehan Khan of Class 3 and 7 years old Usman Gul of Class 2.
These students were raising the steel flagpole to raise the national flag when it touched the power supply line and the victims were electrocuted.
According to the police officer both the aspirants were shifted to the Peer Mohammad Khan Shaheed Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
The bodies were handed over to their families after the completion of legal formalities at the hospital.

The locals also told the media sources that the school had no building and the aspirants were forced to get education in a tent.
