Lahore: The chairperson of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said this year, approximately 4,000 aspirants will be sent to China to get vocational training as well as take part in advance Chinese language course.

On Wednesday, the TEVTA chairperson was addressing a meeting at TEVTA secretariat. Apart from bringing the international master instructors to Pakistan, TEVTA is also doing a great by sending its students to developed countries for training.

TEVTA chairperson confirmed that the authority will send almost 4000 students to China this year. He furthermore added that they intended to send approximately ten thousand aspirants to China however in the first stage they had decided to send almost four thousand aspirants.

“We are trying to send thirty to forty percent female candidates to China for training and the TEVTA will bear all the expenditures.”

These aspirants would be able to get advantage from the opportunities made by China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he added.
