Apply Procedure and Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the NUMS MDCAT 2023, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have valid citizenship of Pakistan/Overseas Pakistanis/Dual Nationals/Foreign Nationals.
• FSc/HSSC/A-Levels/12th Grade students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
• Only the MDCAT (NUMS) 2023, scheduled for 3rd September 2023, will be considered valid for admission to the MBBS/BDS Session 2023-24.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern

PART 'A' (95% weightage)

• This section consists of 150 'One Best Option Type' Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a stipulated time of 150 minutes. The questions cover the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English.

PART 'B' Psychological Test (5% weightage)

• The Psychological Test consists of 100 'One Best Option Type' Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a stipulated time of 30 minutes.
• There is no negative marking in either section.
