The Sindh government has abolished the 20% concession in the school fee across the province. Previously it was announced that all the private schools in the Sindh will grant the concession to the students due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The announcement was made earlier on 7th April 2020 to provide relief to the parents owing to the disastrous economic conditions. Initially, it was declared that the decision will be implemented for three months but later on it was extended for another three months.

Proclamation of Sindh Education Minister

The Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani said that this concession was provided in the wake of the lockdown. He also further mentioned that strict actions will be taken against the schools that will charge an extra fee from the students. The government also closed several schools that violated the orders of the court during that period.

No More Concession in School Fee

Now according to the latest news, it has been confirmed that the provincial government has removed the clause regarding the fee concession from the Sindh Emergency Relief Act. The Sindh cabinet notifies all the schools about this decision. The private schools are allowed to charge the full fee from the students. From October the students will submit the fee without availing any concession.
