Download Fee Challan: Selected candidates must log in to the UHS online admission portal to download their specific college fee challan.
Fee Payment: The annual tuition fee for government medical colleges in Punjab is set at Rs. 18,000 . This fee must be deposited in the designated bank as per the challan instructions.
Submit Written Joining: After fee submission, candidates must physically report to their allocated medical college and submit a written joining statement to the administration.
Admission Confirmation: Only those candidates who complete both fee submission and submit the written joining will be considered formally admitted . Failure to complete either step will result in the forfeiture of the seat.
The university has set a firm deadline for these formalities. The last date for submission of the fee and the written joining is December 12th, 2025. To ensure a smooth process, the Vice-Chancellor of UHS has directed all affiliated government medical colleges to establish special facilitation desks on their premises to guide and assist candidates.
For candidates who did not make it to the first list or who wish to await other options, the second selection list is scheduled to be released on the evening of December 12th, 2025 , immediately after the deadline for the first list expires. This list will fill seats vacated by candidates who did not join from the first list.

The competition is for a total of 3,121 open merit MBBS seats distributed across 17 government medical colleges in Punjab. The release of the merit list is the culmination of a rigorous process based on candidates' aggregate marks from their intermediate (F.Sc.) examinations and the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) .
The release of the first MBBS selection list by UHS marks a critical milestone in Punjab's medical admissions process. With a slightly relaxed minimum merit this year, many aspirants have secured coveted seats. However, the real test now lies in adhering to the critical December 12 deadline for fee and joining submission . Selected candidates are advised to complete the requirements without delay to secure their future in the medical profession. All stakeholders are encouraged to rely solely on the official UHS website and portals for authentic information and updates.
