Punjab Government to Take Strict Action Against SOP’s

Since the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic, the government imposed the Lockdown in Pakistan. Initially, Punjab Government declared to reduce the restrictions of the lockdown so the wheel of the economy started moving. For this, many businesses were allowed to be resumed across the province. On the consensus of the officials, it was pronounced to ease down the lockdown in five days of the week, while on Saturday and Sunday the strict lockdown will be in place.
 

Ease In Lockdown

During the lockdown, all the businesses, industries, and markets were closed which raised concerns for the impoverished community as they were facing problems to earn a livelihood. Due to the problems associated with hunger and poverty, the government previously announced to ease the lockdown. Its main purpose was to facilitate the daily wagers and small traders. The associations then ensured to follow the SOP’s set by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Increase In the Coronavirus Cases

Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar said that " In many places safety measures are not being followed and it results in the continuous increase of the Coronavirus Patients in Pakistan. Over the violation of standard operating procedures, the Punjab Government decided to take strict action against the violators in the province ". Govt also decide to Cancel the Exams and promote to next classes. In case non-observance of SOP’s will be found anywhere in Punjab, such places will be shut down immediately. The step is taken to assure the safety of the people so that everyone can be saved from the deadly virus.
