The corona virus epidemic has badly affects the economy of the country. We can clearly see the effects of the financial crisis caused by this pandemic in Punjab as the Government of Punjab suspended the recruitment process for 70,000 vacancies of teachers for the next two years.

Punjab Government Suspends Recruitment of Seventy Thousand Educators

As per the details, Government of Punjab has suspended this recruitment process for the next 2 years. The hiring’s will take place on previously approved seats of the Police and Health Department. No new hiring will be made in School Education Department.

According to the officials more than 70,000 educators seats are vacant in Punjab province. As per the department, only the vacant positions in Mianwali and Dera Ghazi khan which were approved in the last fiscal year will be filled.

As per the official statement given by the official of School Education Department, no new hiring’s will be done in the new financial year because of lack of budget.

Government of Punjab announces Thousands of Vacancies in Police Department 

Earlier, the Government of Punjab had decided to fill the thousands of vacancies in the police and also gave the approval of new recruitments.

Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar, had instructed that a clear as well as transparent process should be formulated for recruitment and the hiring in the police department will be done completely on merit basis
