Punjab Government Decided to Change Matric And Intermediate Annual Exams Model

The Punjab ministry of education has recently decided to suspend the intermediate and matriculation supplementary examinations in a new turn of events. In order to facilitate the students of SSC (Secondary School Certificate) and HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate), the ministry has decided that student’s annual examinations would be carried out twice every year. This is not offiically announced by the Punjab Government but it is likely to be issued soon by the respective authorities.

New Annual Examination System

The new system for examination of intermediate and matriculation students is expected to arrive soon. According to the Punjab education ministry's announced schedule, the first annual exam are to be carried out as planned, while the second annual examination will be taken after the results declarations of inter and matric classes.

Saving from Supply Exam Title

Students of SSC and HSSC are most likely to take advantage of the current situation as the new examination system will be their saving grace from the “supply exam” title as they are provided upon passing for their education certification.

Moreover, PBCC had recently released an intermediate & matric 2022 annual examination schedule. The annual matric examination will be commenced from the 10^th May 2022 while the inter examination will start from 18^th June 2022.
