Punjab Announces 12th Class Second Annual Examination Schedule 2025: Complete Dates and Deadlines

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairman Personnel (PBCC) has made the schedule of HSSC (Class 12) tests and publication of results official in 2025. The result of the decision made by the committee was delivered by PBCC/BISE Lahore as an official notification on August 28th, 2025, including specific dates on when results are announced, as well as the period of the Second Annual (supplementary) examination cycle. The shift will enable the students, colleges and examination centers to have a clear schedule in order to plan re-appearances, administrative work and administration logistics.

Result Dates: The Dates when Part II and Part I Results are going to be announced.

PBCC has fixed the publication of results of the First Annual Examinations 2025 in the following manner: Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part II - usually called 12th class - will be announced in 18th September 2025 and the results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part I (11 th class) will be announced in 12th October 2025. By these timelines, boards can release marks, students can confirm the results and can make any document necessary to be in college admissions or to enter a scholarship program. The students are recommended to check their respective BISE (Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education) portals with regard to official links to results and roll by roll updates on result day.

2nd Annual Examinations in 2025: Starting Date and the Purpose

On those students who seek to re-sit papers or missed the First Annual Examination, the PBCC has fixed the Second Annual Examination to start on 29th October 2025. This is the additional window through which a student gets a final chance in the academic cycle to get the pending subjects cleared and get the promotion or better grades before the next academic year. Colleges and examination centers will be given separate date sheets and center assignment by their respective BISE office well before the actual start date.

Submission of Admission Form: Phases and Deadlines

The PBCC notification establishes a three-level deadline schedule to submit an admission form in the Second Annual Examination 2025. These stages have to be followed closely by the students and institutions:

  • Single Fee Period: 20th September 2025 to 30th September 2025.
  • The Double Fee period: 1st October to 7th October 2025.
  • Triple Fee period: 8th October 2025 to 13th October 2025.

PBCC has reiterated the fact that the last date ( October 13th ) is absolute and not any later date than indicated in the notice. The applicants are advised to take in the forms and payments within the available time to evade increased penalties and even loss of examination program.

Submission, Important Contacts and Institutional Responsibilities

The notification, which is issued upon supervision of the Controller of Examinations at PBCC/BISE Lahore also contains administrative instructions and contact details of the Secretary of PBCC and the assigned Liaison Officer in case of follow-up queries. The colleges and examination centers are expected to fill in enrollment returns correctly and to meet the deadline of documentation as provided by respective boards. Learners who are private applicants are expected to provide duly filled admission forms electronically (where necessary) and also keep the receipt of the challans or bank confirmations as evidence of money transfer. The most recent official circulars, updates on the seat plans and board-specific extensions and changes may be monitored by the applicant on their local BISE notification pages.

Student Advice: Pre-exam Stepwise Advice

The steps to be followed now by students preparing the Second Annual include, confirming the subject codes and paper lists on the board circular, checking roll numbers and examination centres after roll slips are given, and maintaining hard copies of admission challan and the sent forms. Individuals who are the ones awaiting the 12th class result (18th September) are advised to review marking schemes, and re-check answer scripts where your board offers a re-check window. Examination coordinators should also be appointed by colleges to provide a liaison with BISE offices and also ensure the registration returns are delivered in time.

The Implication of this to Institutions and Policy

Having a clear schedule published and admission windows contingent on hard phase fees, PBCC is planning to exercise administrative discipline as well as provide a clear second chance re-sitting opportunity to students. This is illustrated by the fact that there have been no mentioned extensions and it is therefore important that institutions comply early before they can hit the last minute roadblocks. The notification should then be passed within the education departments and colleges administration and help students step-by-step in submitting the applications.
