The University of Punjab condemns the recently surfacing fake news regarding the closing of the Punjab University due to the spread of coronavirus in educational institutes. The University of Punjab officials have clarified it on social media account to the students and parents to avoid fake news, follow only the official representation of the University of Punjab on social media!. Kindly avoid following imposter pages pretending as spokespeople of the University of Punjab. A Strict action according to the Cyber Crime Law of Pakistan will be taken against such fake accounts.
Sschedule For Closing Of University
A fake circular subjected "Schedule for closing of university" is circulating for the past few days all over social media about the closing of the university. The circular addresses that the following programs will be dismissed from mid of October till next notice and all the classes of the below-mentioned program will be held online only. Also, the students who are residing in the hotel have to clear the hostel due before leaving to chairman hall council for hostel accommodation.

2. 2nd-year M.A /M.SC. (Semester System)
3. M.A/M.SC. 1st Semester
