Lahore: University of the Punjab has announced the final results of BA/BSc Annual exams 2016 in which top positions were clinched by the girls in BSc whereas just one boy could secure one position in BA exams.

The ceremony in honor of position holders as well as and awareness campaign about PEEF organized today at 9:30am at Al-Raazi Hall.

The Vice president of Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Dr Muhammad Amjad Saqib was the chief guest whereas the vice chancellor of Punjab University Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran was the guest of honor on the ceremony.

 According to the declared BA / BSc result by officials of university, all the top three positions were clinched by girls in Bachelor of Science’s exams.

A female student of BSc Misss Huma, roll number 15881 got overall first position by securing 702 marks out of total 800.

Another female student of BSc Zara Nasir, roll number 10473 grabbed second position by obtaining 699 marks whereas Maryam Saba roll number 23441 clinched third by obtaining 697 marks.

In BA, the first position was clinched by a boy whereas 2nd and 3rd position was clinched by girls.

Mansoor Ali, roll number 83713 secured first position in BA by obtaining 665 marks.

Faryal Shahbaz, roll number 48658, clinched second position by obtaining 660 marks whereas Ms Attiqa, roll number 80127, stood third in the exams by obtaining 655 marks.

Total 118,029 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 44450 candidates passed the exams and the overall passing percentage of BA / BSc exams remained at 37.66%.
