Private School Association Announces The Date To Reopen Schools

Private School Association has announced the date to reopen the schools in January. The decision was taken in the joint action committee of the private schools association and the meeting was attended by the senior representatives of schools. The committee clarified that all the schools will reopen on 11th January, across Pakistan according to the schedule provided by the government previously. There is no possibility of extending the shutdown of the schools anymore as it will put the students and the teachers at a disadvantage. So whatever the circumstances will be in the upcoming month the private schools will resume their academic activities.  

Reopening of Private Schools

The committee further stated that they will not accept the decision of the government to extend the closures of the school due to the second wave of coronavirus pandemic. The members of the Private schools association warned the government to not announce the further closure of the schools and also to not take the action against the schools that will be reopened after 11th January. They said that when everything else is open in the country then there is no need to shut down the educational institutes. The PSA has created a supreme council that will represent all private educational institutions to devise a further strategy in case the government announced to not reopen the schools on 11th January. 

Implementation of SOPs

According to the Private school association, there will be strict implementation of the standard operating procedures in all the schools and they assured the government to not violate the precautionary measures in order to protect the students. Previously the government had also announced to provide the relief package to the private educational institutes so that they can meet the financial expenditures caused by the pandemic. The prolonged closure of schools will only cause damage to the students in their studies. As per the announcement of the members the strategy to reopen the private schools will be finalized soon.
