Since the announcement of the MDCAT syllabus from the Pakistan medical commission, the students become worrisome as it contains many extra topics. However, the PMC declared it previously that no extra topics will be added in the existing syllabus respective to the province. Now, only one month has been left in the national MDCAT and it is quite difficult for the students to cover the wholesome syllabus in less time. “#NoPmcSyllabus” also remained the top trend of Twitter. The students boycotted the last minute changes in the MDCAT syllabus. The students demanded justice as this decision of PMC will deeply affect their careers. Many students aim to become a doctor and appear in MDCAT to secure admission in the medical and dental college. After this entire situation, PMC has issued the clarification on MDCAT syllabus 2020.
Important Announcements Regarding Syllabus
The syllabus of the national MDCAT has been created in such a way that no question will be asked from outside the FSc syllabus. The syllabus has been reviewed by the committee of provincial universities and IBCC.
In case the question appears outside of the syllabus then it will be removed from the scoring for all the students.
PMC will also provide the objection form to all the students in the examination hall so that they can record their objection to any question if asked from outside of the syllabus
The authorities will review the object immediately after the completion of MDCAT 2020 on 15th November 2020.
Moreover, the relevant committee will consider the objections related to any topic at this time before finalizing the paper for MDCAT.
Registration of MDCAT
The online registration portal has been opened by PMC for the students so it is reminded to the candidates to do the registration before 2nd November.
