Pakistan Medical Commission has given the clarification regarding MDCAT 2021 examination fees on the protest of students and parents as PMC is charging Rs.6000 for MDCAT registration fee 2021. PMC argued that MDCAT will be the computer-based examination to select the eligible candidates that can take admission in the medical and dental colleges. According to PMC, the fee of MDCAT is significantly lower as compared to the other full automated tests in the world.

PMC further stated that the cost of MDCAT test amounting Rs.6000 is adequate as it has been subsidized to Pakistani students inclusive of various services such as online tutorials, a mock examination with the option to take more, automatic electronic dispatch of candidate results, and an automated scheduling service. All the services have been provided to the students in order to facilitate them. Moreover, the security system of the question bank and examination systems are complemented with face recognition and ID verification systems at the centers.
Moreover, the MDCAT PMC 2021 is 3 and half hr computer based test consisting of 210 questions that the candidates need to solve in the mentioned time. After the completion of the test, the result will be provided to the candidates within 30 minutes. The result will be directly emailed to the candidates so that they can learn about their performance in the test. The computerized test centers will be formed in the various cities such as Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Lahore, DG Khan, Peshawar, Sialkot, Swat, Quetta, Mirpur, Nawabshah, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Karachi, Islamabad, Sialkot, Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and many other cities. The MDCAT test is considered as the international standard examination that selects the candidates based on merit by following the international standards.
