PM Imran Khan Shares A Master Plan of His Dream Knowledge City At Namal University

On Monday, October 26th, 2020 Prime Minister Imran Khan shared the master plan of his “Dream Knowledge City”. The dream knowledge city will be established at Namal University. It is declared by the Prime Minister that the major construction phase of this knowledge city will be completed by 2027. However, the first phase of the project of Dream Knowledge City has been launched by PM Imran Khan earlier on Saturday. Namal University is selected for this project which is located in Mianwali.

First Phase Of Dream Knowledge City Project

It is expected that the first phase of this project will be done by 2023. The first phase will accommodate 800 students and 50 faculty members. However, it is expected that the final construction of this project will be completed by 2027. It is expected that the Dream Knowledge City will be comprised of the following initiatives:

  • Academic Blocks
  • Libraries
  • Technology Parks
  • Business Centers
  • Dairy Farms
  • Primary and Secondary Schools
  • Sports Facilities
  • Hospital
  • Shopping centers
  • Hostels
  • Housing Colony for Staff, Faculty, and Students.

A Healthy Environment 

PM Imran said that Namal College is located in a beautiful place where students can get a beautiful and healthy environment. However, for the recreational activities, students find a beautiful lake and salt range that is known as one of the oldest rocks in Pakistan.  Moreover, PM Imran has also shared his ideas that he hopes to establish medical schools, engineering schools, and textile schools to make this place a central educational point of the country.
