PBCC Extends Registration Date For 11th Class Registration

Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has extended the registration date for Class 11 students. This date extension applies to all boards of Punjab for the academic session of 2020-22. Earlier in September, the last date of registration without fee was November 9, 2020. However, due to the fear of the second wave of COVID-19, many students were not able to timely apply for the Class-XI registration for the 2021 exams. Considering the prevailing situation, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has allowed students the register for 11^th class exams without paying an additional fee till November 17, 2020. The last date to apply by paying a late fee is December 02, 2020.

Details Of The Fee

According to the policy of the board, the following are the fees that are charged from 11^th class students:

• Registration fee: Rs 800/-
• Processing fee: Rs 395/-
• Sports fee: Rs 100/-
• Late fee (For late students only): Rs 500/-

Importance Of 11^th Class Exams

Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education all over Punjab conduct Class 11 exams every year. Thousands of students appear in the exams in each educational board. The board exams are taken for Medical, Engineering, Computer, Commerce, General Science, and Arts groups. Various sets are available for students on their Higher Secondary School education level. The presence of different sets enables students to choose what they want to study at the higher education level. Students have to make sure that they take maximum marks in the 11^th class exams. Those candidates who cannot score higher in the 11^th class exams have low chances of getting admission in prestigious institutions.
