Pakistan Medical Commission Announces Schedule For National Admissions

Pakistan medical commission has announced the schedule for the national admissions. The applications are invited from the interested candidates that wanted to take admission in the MBBS and BDS degree program in the private medical or dental college. Earlier the PMC had conducted the medical and dental college admission test on 23rd November and the result of the entrance exam was announced on 16th December. Due to some error in the announced result, the PMC officials had reissued the updated MDCAT result 2020 on 17th November. After the result declaration now the authorities have started the admission procedure for session 2021.  

Application Submission

The candidates are required to follow the steps mentioned below in order to complete and submit the application form. 

• The candidates have to sign in on the PMC web portal to submit the application form.

• Enter the details about the personal Information, Father/Guardian, education and entrance test (MDCAT or SAT II). The scanned copies of the original documents must be uploaded with the application form.

• After entering all the information review the application before submission. Once the application is submitted the candidates will not be able to re-edit it. 

• The application fee is Rs. 515/- that can be submitted to any branch of the multinational commercial bank. 

• The paid fee voucher should be uploaded along with the academic certificates. 

Eligibility Criteria For Admission

The eligibility criterion for admission mentioned by the PMC is as follows:

• 65% or above marks in HSSC or equivalent exams

• 60% or above marks in MDCAT/ SAT II

The criteria for the merit generation include FSc/ IBCC Equivalence 30%, MDCAT / SAT II 50%, and the remaining 20% will be decided on the basis of the interview conducted by the college.

Last Date to Apply

The last date to apply for private and medical college admissions in Pakistan is 8th January 2021. The candidate can submit the application form by 5:00 pm. So the students are informed to fulfill the application requirements as per the provided schedule.
