NUMS Announces HEC-NUMS Need-Based Scholarship Program

NUMS has announced the phase-III of the HEC-NUMS need-based scholarship program in which the eligible candidates can apply. The scholarship will be purely granted after the assessment of the merit and the other requirements to ensure transparency. The candidates enrolled in the Department of Biological Science and the Department of Public Health can only apply in this scholarship program.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria as mentioned by the NUMS and HEC officials are stated below.

• Students enrolled in an undergraduate program (4 years) offered by the Department of Biological Sciences and Department of Public Health.
• The students admitted in the fall semester 2020 in the above-mentioned undergraduate degree programs can also apply for this scholarship.
• The eligibility of the candidate will be based on their financial needs evaluated by the institutional scholarship award committee. Moreover, the committee will also consider the financial background of the applicant during the selection procedure.

Coverage Provided

The scholarship will provide financial assistance to the candidates and cover their tuition fee for the whole degree program and the fee will be paid to the institute directly. Moreover the monthly stipend of Rs. 6000/- will be also granted to the students throughout the entire program.

Selection Procedure

Institutional Scholarship Award Committee has all the rights reserved to select the appropriate candidates that meet all the requirements mentioned by the affiliated authorities. After the verification of the submitted documents, the eligible candidates will be called for the interview to carry out the further selection procedure. The final selection will be made by the HEC and then students will be informed accordingly.

Application Deadline

The last date to apply in the NUMS-HEC need-based scholarship program is 31st October 2020. The candidates have to submit the application form along with the required documents to the concerned head of their affiliated departments.
