ISLAMABAD: A glorious “Kitab Mela” is getting organized from April 22 under the organization of National Book foundation (NBF) in Pak-China Friendship center. It will have 250 plus book stalls of book sellers and publishers at 50% discount rate. Prominent personalities will attend this three day book mela.
Advisor to Prime Minister, Irfan Siddiqui during his meeting on National History and heritage division with officers of National History and heritage division and NBF said that prominent intellectuals, book lovers, ambassadors, literally personalities, educationists, writers, poets’ artists’, students and people from every walk of life will attend this mela.

The event will have “Conferences” of book ambassadors to exchange their views and to develop strategies for solving issues face by book industry. “Vice Chancellors” conference will have the think tanks of the educational sector for promoting book culture. “Book Reading” segment will welcome the famous writers and intellectuals of Urdu and English language to take part in the discussion.
The Kitab Mela aims to endorse encouraging activities among the youth of the country. It will open the new prospects of book reading and will spread out a positive message of calmness across the country. This Kitab mela would practically be exhibiting NBF slogans” Book Leads to Peace” and “Our Dream, Book for all.”
