National Information Technology Board Announces Various Job Opportunities For Candidates

National Information Technology Board has announced the various job opportunities for the candidates. The applicants can apply for the posts of Assistant Secretary, Data Processing Supervisor, Data Processing Assistant, Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Steno Typist, Data Entry Operator, Upper Division Clerk UDC, and Lower Division Clerk LDC. Male and female candidates having the required qualification, experience and domicile can apply for a particular post. 

Assistant Secretary (BPS-17)

To apply for this post the candidates must have the second class or grade “c” master’s degree in any discipline. The applicants should also have 2 years of academic/administrative experience in government/semi-government or autonomous organizations. The age limit for the candidates is 25 to 35 years. 

Data Processing Supervisor (BPS-16)

The minimum academic qualification required for this post is a second class or grade “c” master’s degree in computer sciences from the institution recognized by HEC. The age limit for the post of data processing supervisor is 20 to 28 years. 

Data Processing Assistant (BPS-16)

The candidates must have a second class or grade “c” bachelor’s degree in computer sciences/maths/statistics/physics/ economics and 3 years’ experience in the relevant field/supervisory experience in data control/data entry operation. For this post, the age limit is 18 to 25 years. 

Assistant (BPS-15)

For the post of assistant, the candidates should have the academic qualification bachelor’s degree. The applicants should submit the certificate of 6 weeks basic IT training course after selection but before completion of probation period. The age limit for the male and female applicants is 18 to 25 years. 

Accounts Assistant (BPS-14)

The required academic qualification for this post is B.Com and applicants must have 3 years’ experience of maintenance of accounts in any government organization/university and knowledge of MS word and excel will be preferred. The age limit for the male and female candidates is 18 to 25 years.

Steno-Typist (BPS-14)

To apply for this post the candidate should be intermediate pass with the speed of 80 words in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing/computer handling. For the post of stenotypist, the age limit for the candidates is 18 to 25 years. 

Data Entry Operator (BPS-14)

The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in physics/mathematics/statistics/economics from the institution recognized by HEC with a minimum speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour for data entry. The age limit for the candidates for the post of data entry operator is 18 to 25 years. 

Upper Division Clerk UDC (BPS-11)

For the post of UDC, the required academic qualification is HSSC with at least 45% marks. The candidates have to also submit the certificate of 3 weeks basic IT training course after selection prior to the completion of probation period. 18- 25 years is the age limit for the candidates. 

Lower Division Clerk LDC (BPS-09)

To apply for the post of lower division clerk the applicants should have the minimum academic qualification SSC with a computer handling speed of 30 words per minute. Moreover the candidates are required to submit the certificate of 3 weeks basic IT training course before completion of probation period. The age limit for the male and female candidates is 18 to 25 years
