Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) banned all the on-campus activities of private schools in Islamabad till April 11, 2021. The notification is an under:

It has been said in the notification that all private educational institutions of Islamabad will remain close till April 11, 2021 with effect from March 29 due to spike in Covid-19 cases. This closure also includes banning of Tests or Mid-terms which had been given an exemption earlier. It has been decided according to the guidelines of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).

This decision has to be taken immediately as corona positivity ratio rises to 16% in Islamabad in the last 24 hours. This ratio has been increased due to non-compliance of SOPs which is a serious threat to the students.

It is stated in the notification that all educational institutions are advised to follow the stated order in true letter and spirit.
