MDCAT Canceled: New Date To Be Proclaimed By PMC

The (PMC) Pakistan Medical Commission has decided to conduct entrance tests for medical faculties across the country at the same time.Pakistan Medical Council has stopped all entry tests of the admitting Medical Universities within the country. It implies that ETEA, NUMS, People's University's medical Entrance Test, and UHS MDCAT are deferred currently. PMC will announce a standardized policy for admission to medical and dental faculties in Pakistan and shall conduct National MDCAT.

Notification Regarding National MDCAT

A notification on the PMC web site reads National MDCAT is commanded by the PMC. The Schedule of the examination is proclaimed by the Commission immediately after 2nd October 2020. Hence PMC can conduct one entry test for admissions to any or all medical and dental faculties within the country. This entry test is known as the National Medical and Dental Colleges Admission test. The dates of the test are proclaimed after 2nd October, 2020.

Abolishment of PMDC

The PMDC had been abolished and PMC came into emergence by the Govt. The PMC has stopped the process of taking the entry tests at the provincial level and has decided to conduct the Entrance Test at the national level. Now this year National MDCAT will be held. The entrance test in Punjab was likely to be conducted on 18 October 2020.
