Ability Test 17th Schedule

Candidates from Tribal District Kurram whose tests were previously postponed will appear in a separate set of Ability Tests arranged to take place in Peshawar on October 24th, 2025. This move is made in compliance with the Peshawar High Court’s direction dated 16-09-2025 in Written Petition No.5479-P/2024, and reflects KPPSC’s effort to ensure those candidates get a fair opportunity to sit examinations in a more secure, accessible setting. The Commission’s announcements explicitly reference the court’s orders and prior notices that postponed tests for Kurram candidates because of law-and-order concerns

Why This Matters: Fairness, Logistics and Security

The general Ability Tests (Oct 14-23) and a separate Kurram sitting on Oct 24 in Peshawar compensate the requirement of the Commission to get the recruitment process on schedule, without putting at a disadvantage the candidates who might be disadvantaged by instabilities in their home district. To the Kurram applicants, conducting tests in Peshawar will minimize the threat to their lives and eliminate the need to travel into an unsafe region. To the Commission, it maintains the sanctity of the selection process since all the applicants would be tested on the same formal conditions. According to official announcements of KPPSC, the postponed examinations are only available among those candidates who previously were unable to take them because of the delay.

Practical Guidance for Candidates

The applicants have to download their roll number slips on the KPPSC web site, verify the assigned venue and reporting time, and bring the original CNIC and any other document as directed in the roll slip. The visitors who are moving between Kurram and Peshawar ought to make a reservation way ahead of the travel and accommodation to avoid wastage of time in security check-ups and traffic. It is also provided in the schedule pages of the KPPSC site under the contact section and in any other announcement e.g entry requirements, prohibited items or medical advice which are consulted closely in the days before your test.

The release of 16th Ability Test schedule on Oct 14 to 23, 2025 by KPPSC and a special sitting in Kurram, Peshawar on Oct 24 is a procedural process to fulfill delayed the exams without violating the court order and the safety of the candidates. Applicants should use the official KPPSC records to get the precise information on the test, get roll slips on the spot, and logistics are to be taken into account long before the test in order to prevent any last minute inconveniences. Any changes that are late will continue to be the authority in the Commission online schedule and notices.
