KMU Announces CAT 2026 Registration Schedule for Undergraduate Health Sciences Admissions

PESHAWAR – Khyber Medical University (KMU) has officially announced the registration schedule for the KMU Centralized Admission Test (CAT) 2026, which is mandatory for students seeking admission to undergraduate health sciences programs offered by the university and its affiliated institutions for the academic session 2026-27.

According to the university, online registration for KMU CAT 2026 will begin on June 10, 2026. The first admission test is scheduled to take place on July 26, 2026, providing aspiring healthcare professionals with an opportunity to secure admission to a variety of degree programs.

Multiple Test Opportunities for Candidates

To facilitate students and give them additional chances to improve their performance, KMU has introduced multiple test sessions for CAT 2026. Following the initial examination in July, the university will conduct two additional tests on September 20 and October 25, 2026.

The multiple-test format is expected to benefit candidates by allowing them to enhance their scores and increase their chances of gaining admission to their desired programs.

The KMU Centralized Admission Test serves as the entry requirement for numerous undergraduate health sciences disciplines offered by KMU and its affiliated institutes.

To ensure accessibility for students from different regions, KMU has established examination centers in 14 cities and regions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

KMU has stated that students who have successfully completed FSc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for the admission test.

Additionally, students awaiting the announcement of their final examination results may also register for CAT 2026, enabling them to participate in the admission process without delay.

Registration Process for KMU CAT 2026

Candidates can complete their registration online through the KMU CAT portal. Applicants are required to create an account, choose their preferred test date, select an examination center, and submit the prescribed fee.

The university has informed students that the registration fee can be deposited through any branch of the Bank of Khyber.
