Lahore: Angry students once again took to the streets on Thursday to protest against result of inter part 1, demanding inspection of their papers and resignations of board authorities.

Students gathered against the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) outside the Lahore Press Club, holding placards and banners and shouting the slogans against the officials of BISEs.

They demanded the announced inter result should be cancelled and all papers must be checked again by ‘senior and qualified’ staff.

They also demanded the officials of board, including chairman, secretary and controller, should resign without any delay and be probed for their ‘negligence’.

The students called for naming the teachers openly, who had checked the papers.

Ali Ahmed, a protester, while conversing with media sources said that the students will continue their protests till their demands were met.

“The boards are playing with our future and now they are increasing just 10 marks of students who have applied for rechecking to stop the protests,” he added.

“The aspirants across the province are complaining and the government is trying to bend the matter under the rug.”

An inquiry committee was made by Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhhamad Shahbaz Sharif to probe the issue.
