Inter board committee of chairmen has announced to introduce the new education policy to reduce the dropout rate of the students. The committee has set the agenda to facilitate the students of the matric and intermediate by taking this step during the current academic year. The IBCC Secretary Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah has stated reforms will be introduced by keeping in view the educational needs of the students. The matric and intermediate levels hold importance as it impacts the career choice of the students so the need of the hour is to bring the reforms so that the candidates can focus on the studies and work hard to score well in the annual exams.
Importance of Technology
The committee is determined to use the technology in the field of education to provide better learning opportunities to all the students. In this way, the students will be able to understand the modern requirements that are necessary to fulfill to get admission to the universities of Pakistan. The secretary of IBCC added that during the coronavirus pandemic, everyone understood the significance of technology. In collaboration with all the other educational boards of the country, IBCC will provide the best education system to students. The IBCC is also working on its 2021’s agenda to decrease the dropout rate of matric and intermediate students in the country.
Uniform Exams System
Dr. Mallah has said that it the basic need to introduce the uniform system of exams at the primary, middle and secondary levels. In this way, the candidates can be guided to evaluate their academic strengths as well as weaknesses before appearing in the annual exams. Earlier it had been announced to implement the single national curriculum in all the public and private schools and colleges of Pakistan. So IBCC in collaboration will the federal government will launch the project in which technology will play an important role in education. The special focus will be paid to the teacher training and examinations to strengthen the education system.
