Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Has Extended The Deadline Of Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Project 2019-20

The Ehsaas project was launched by the Prime Minister for undergraduate students who belong to low-income families. The aim is to help students in higher-level studies as after intermediate it’s unaffordable for families with lower-income families to deal with the expanses of higher education. All students can apply for Ehsaas undergraduate scholarship project by following the given eligibility criteria given below.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship

1. All students who are currently studying in government universities in undergraduate degree programs
2. Students who took admission by fulfilling the admission criteria of their respective university
3. According to university rules and regulations for admission, the age limit of the students will be followed for the scholarship

Ineligibility Criteria For Scholarship

1. Any other scholarship already granted to the students or availing another scholarship for education can not apply for this undergraduate scholarship project
2. Applicants who were enrolled without following the admission criteria such as students on Self-sustain/ Self- support/Self-finance evening programs
3. Students who are enrolled in distant learning programs are ineligible

Documents Details For Scholarship

All applicants are advised to apply online for the scholarship program and after applying they have to take a print of their admission forms and attach the following documents with their application forms.

1. Copy of CNIC or B. form, CNIC (Father, Mother/ Guardian)
2. Salary Slip / Income Certificate (Father/Guardian, Mother) However if the father is Laborer on daily wage/shopkeeper/ private job, then attach undertaking of Income Certificate on the minimum amount of stamp paper of PKR 50/-
3. Applicants must attach copies of last Six-month utility bills
4. If the applicant is a resident in a  case of Rented House/apartment he/she attach copy of House rent agreement
5. If applicable only then copies of Last Fee Receipts of Applicant and Siblings
6. If applicable only then  copies of Medical bills/ expenditure related documents
7. Applicant must attach one passport size photograph and picture of house from outside front

Documents Submission

All students are informed that the hard copy of the application form along with all the required documents will be submitted to the Student Financial Aid Office of the respective university only.

Extended Deadline For Scholarship

The Higher Education Commission has extended the date of the undergraduate scholarship program from 10^th December 2019. The decision was changed because many students and universities were repeatedly sending requests for extending the last date of application. The undergraduate scholarship project date has been extended to Tuesday 24^th December 2019. All applicants are advised to apply before the deadline with all the required documents.
