HEC Makes Discussion With The Universities For Classes Assessment, Admissions And Exams

After the final decision of matric and intermediate classes, Higher Education Commission, HEC comes to solve the higher education issues facing due to the Covid-19. For this purpose, HEC makes discussions with the universities regarding class assessments, exams session, and new admission sessions. HEC is working to cover all the academic losses of the universities and for this purpose, HEC is taking all the potential and helpful steps.

Schedule For Online Classes  

HEC addresses the universities to start online classes. For this purpose, HEC has also announced the proper schedule for online classes according to which the universities will arrange online classes from June 1^st, 2020. At the beginning of the lockdown, HEC had also decided to offer students an online education system. But due to lack of learning management systems, LMS by the universities, and other issues it was not possible to arrange the online classes. But, by taking a view on the current situation HEC advised almost all the higher educational institutes or universities to arrange proper LMS. However, it comes to see that all the universities are working properly to arrange the proper LMS for conducting the online classes. 

Schedule For New Exams

While addressing the universities to conduct the online classes HEC has also discussed the exams and admission sessions. It has decided that the universities would take the final exams from the students for the current semesters. HEC advised covering the syllabus through online classes and conduct exams. However, it has not decided yet what phenomenon would be used to conduct exams. These may be online exam sessions or maybe students would be called to appear in the university. However, if any decision regarding exams would come to see it would be published on priority.
