HEC Launches Online Facility For Equivalence of Local Degrees

The Higher Education Commission has launched the online facility for equivalence and local degrees. The decision has been made by the authorities to facilitate the students so that they can get the equivalence of the degrees awarded by the Pakistani universities and degree awarding institutions. According to the announcement made by the commission, the candidates can now get the equivalence easily in less time and they do not have to wait for a longer time period. Moreover, the process will be completed in the hassle-free manner.

Online Facility

It is a completely paperless system and the applicants are now not required to visit the Higher Education Commission Offices or send their documents to the HEC for the equivalence of the local degrees. Earlier the candidates had to submit the manual documents to the commission and then after processing the authorities issued the equivalence certificate and that was a long and tiresome process for the candidates. Now the candidates have to follow the simple process as per the instructions provided by the commission. 

Submission of Application Form

To get the equivalence of their qualifications the candidates have to submit the online application form. They can apply from their homes by creating an online profile at the web portal of HEC. The candidates are also directed to upload the scanned copies of the attested required documents from Bachelor’s onwards along with the paid fee challan. The application form and the fee must be submitted according to the schedule provided by the commission. It is pertinent to mention here that no manual application for the equivalence of Pakistani degrees will be accepted in any case. So the candidates have to fill and submit the online form issued by the commission to grant the equivalence of local degrees.
