HEC Invites Applications For Overseas Scholarships Spring And Fall 2021

HEC has invited the students from across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir for Ph.D. and MS/M.Phil. Scholarships. The Ph.D. scholarships are offered only for selected fields. The MS/M.Phil. Scholarships are available for Engineering Technology only. The HEC sessions of 2021 of spring and fall carry the Scholarship duration. The Scholarships are available for HEC Identified top-ranked foreign universities in advanced countries.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships

The students must be Pakistani or AJK nationals. A minimum qualification of MS, M.Phil. Or ME or equivalent for the Ph.D. degree and 16 years of education for MS and M.Phil. before the closing date. For MS and M.Phil. degree the student must be registered with NTC Pakistan. 2nd Division is required throughout the career. A minimum of 3.0 CGPA or 1st Division in terminal degree is required. The age limit is 40 years for Full-time faculty members of Public Sector University or college and 35 years for the rest. Should have got 70% marks in (HAT) HEC Aptitude Test. The student must not be availing any other scholarship in this regard.

Last Date of Application Submission

The willing candidates can apply through HEC portal Online by Monday 12 October 2020. An application processing fee of RS 500 must be submitted and an online deposit slip or ATM transfer slip must be uploaded in the HEC portal.
