HEC Invites Applications For Online GRE Training From Aspiring Ph.D. Scholars

The higher education commission has invited applications for GRE training from the aspiring Ph.D. scholars. The Pakistan and AJK nationals can apply for the comprehensive online training under the US-Pak knowledge Corridor under the initiative of HEC. The potential students and non-PhD faculty aspiring for the Ph.D. scholarship can apply by submitting the application form. 

Eligibility Criteria

The interested candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below. 

• Pakistan and AJK nationals are eligible to apply.
• The candidates must have a minimum of four years of bachelor’s degree/16 year’s formal education with a maximum of one 2nd division and no 3rd division in an entire academic career.
• The maximum age should not be exceeded above 38 years in the case of regular faculty members of public sector universities/government colleges and researchers of approved & registered organizations. While in other cases the age limit for the candidates is 33 years.
• The candidates already availing any other scholarship by the higher education commission of Pakistan are not eligible to apply. 
• The candidates who have availed of this training are also not eligible. 

Application Submission

The candidates have to submit the online application form to apply for the GRE training. The last date for the submission of the online application form is 20th February 2021. It is informed to the candidates to apply before the due date as the forms received after the mentioned deadline will not be accepted by the authorities. The applications must be submitted via Google and it is necessary for the applicants to fulfill all the requirements mentioned by the commission. For the whole training, Rs. 2500/- will be charged from the candidates and the remaining fee will be paid by the higher education commission.
