Governor Punjab Addresses the Concerns of University Students

The chancellor of all the universities and governor of Punjab, Mohammad Sarwar address the university students. The students of universities are in worry as not a final decision has been declared to carry out the educational and exam activities.

Previously, the education minister announced that all the board examination has been canceled. However, the university will decide its exam schedule to conduct the online classes and exams.

Instructions to all Universities Officials

In this regard, Governor Punjab has said that he is well aware of the concerns of the students and trying to provide the possible solutions to solve their problems. He furthermore added that instructions have been given to all the universities to seek out the student’s problems related to their academics.

Initiation of Online Complaint Portal

All the students from the medical colleges and universities can contact the helpline 042 -111 33 33 66 and asked their queries. The online portal has also been developed to facilitate the medical students so that they can get authentic information when required.

Guidelines for Online Education

The proper guidelines have been provided to the other universities as well to assist their students by resolving their queries. Arrangements to organize the online education are in process to save the academic years of the students.

Consideration of the Current Situation

He clearly stated that no one knows that when the pandemic will end as all the sectors of Pakistan are badly suffering due to the coronavirus. According to him, soon a meeting of vice-chancellors of all the universities will be going to be conducted, in which all the matters will be discussed to manage the problems associated with current situation. He encouraged the students to discuss the solutions, suggestions and recommendations and proper discussion on the online portal to solve all the educational issues

Reopening to Universities

As soon as the situation will be under control the universities will be reopened. Till then students have to take the online classes to continue their studies. This is the only method to prevent the study loss and to promote the students into the next semester.
