The Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mahmood on Saturday in a tweet stated that that health of the students is our first priority and any decision we make would be guided by advice of Health Ministry.

In a tweet today, Federal Education minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the six months closure of educational institutes had deeply affected the students and the decision to open the institutes was taken along with the great care and attention.

Any Hasty Decision To Close Institutes Will Destroy Education, says Shafqat Mahmood

The tweet of Federal Education minister comes a day after the Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani organized a press conference to announce that the reopening of schools for the grade 6th to grade 8th in Sindh was being delayed over the fears of the spread of corona virus.

While talking about the earlier announcement of Sindh Education Minister, that Sindh was delaying the reopening of secondary schools, Shafqat Mahmood warned that any quick decision to close the educational institutes will destroy education.

Final Decision Regarding Resuming Classes From Grade 6th To 8th

Furthermore, he also stated in his tweet that, there is no change in the time table which was announced earlier after inter provincial meeting of education ministers. He said that we will meet in the National command Operation Centre (NCOC) on September 22nd, 2020 to take the final decision however current the current situations remains same, then there is no reason for the postponement of classes from 6th to 8th on September 23rd, 2020
