The Federal Directorate of education has decided to promote the technical and vocational training among all the educational institutes in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). A letter of Understanding (LoU) has been signed between the FDE and NVATTC at the ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. The main aim is to facilitate the students and make them aware of the latest happenings and trends regarding the Technical and Vocational Training &Education sector. In this way, the students can grab the various opportunities both at the domestic and the international level.
National Vocational & Technical Training Commission
National Vocational & Technical Training Commission is considered as one of the main body in Pakistan for regulation, coordination for the technical & vocational training, and education (TVET). The body is focused on the promotion of the TVET sector so that students can pursue this as a viable career choice.
Purpose of Letter of Understanding
According to the signed LoU, NAVTTC will be responsible to educate the students in all the FDE educational institutes. The awareness campaigns will be launched that guides the students about the recent drifts and developments in the respective sector. Moreover, sessions will be also arranged as per the devised calendar. This project will also enhance the industrial productivity of Pakistan. The LoU will remain valid for three years.
Proclamation of Education Minister
Federal Education Minister, Shafqat Mahmood appreciated the initiative and said that this initiative will assist the students and would be beneficial for the educational institutes. In this way, the students can explore the opportunities provided by the sector of technical &vocational training and Education.
