Federal Board of Intermediate And Secondary Education Announces SSC Special Exam Result 2020

Today the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (FBISE) has announced the result of the Secondary school Certificate (SSC) Special Annual Examination 2020. Previously the board had issued a press release which stated that on 11th November 2020 the students will be able to check their results. According to the date announced, the special exam was held in the months of September-October 2020 due to the spread of the COVID-19. After the commencement of the exam, the board took almost one month to compile and declare the result.

 

FBISE Promotion Policy 

In the wake of the pandemic, the FBISE had declared the result of the annual matric examination based on the promotion policy approved by the concerned officials. The promotion criterion was devised for the students and according to it, 3% of marks were granted to each student. Moreover, 50% of the practical marks were granted to all students while 50% of marks were awarded on the basis of performance in the theory exams. But after the announcement of the students, many students were not contented with their result so the board decided to conduct the special exam for such students that wanted to improve their grades. 

SSC Special Exam Result

The students that had taken the SSC special exam can check their result by entering the required details such as name and roll number and the result will appear on the screen. Private and regular students can get their detailed mark sheet. Furthermore, the students that have mentioned their phone number on their registration form will receive their result by SMS. 

 
Instructions For Private Candidates

It is directed to the private candidates that if they do not receive their result card till 26th November then they have to submit the application form. The controllers of the examination will then issue the result card to the students.
