FBISE Starts Technical Education Group at SSC Level

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has started the technical education group at the SSC level (9th class and 10th class). The main aim is to equip the students with the emerging trends in the field of education so that they can play a significant role in the development of the country. So the board has established the FBISE technical education wing to provide the best career opportunities to the students who want to seek some skills along with formal education. Moreover, due to technological advancements, technical education is necessary to grab jobs in the international market so it is very important to impart education and skills to the youth. 

Technical Group At SSC Level

This year the federal board has introduced the technical group at the SSC level (9th class and 10th class) under which the candidates can opt for any two of the following technical subjects of the same trade along with the compulsory subjects, general science, and mathematics.

• Fundamentals of Cooking 
• Working Principle of Hotel Management
• Graphic designing
• Fashion designing
• Tourism Management
• Professional Cooking
• Media Production

Technical Group at HSSC Level

The candidates are informed that at the HSSC level the medical technology is also being offered in the various groups such as the medical lab technology group, dental hygiene technology group, operation theatre technology group, medical imaging technology group, physiotherapy technology group, and ophthalmic technology group. Recently Fazil-e-Tibb wal Jaharat has also been introduced and institutions have initiated their process of affiliation with the federal board of intermediate and secondary education.
