Fawad Chaudhry Announces To Award Scholarships To Students From Matric To PhD

The federal minister for science and technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced to award the scholarships to the students from the matric to Ph.D. The minister has stated that it will be the biggest scholarship in Pakistan provided to students at different educational levels. Earlier the meeting of the Standing Committee on Science and Technology was held in which it had been decided to offer the scholarships to the students so that they can continue to study without having any financial issue. In the meeting, it had been proposed that the Rs.10, 000/- will be awarded to the top 10 toppers of matric of each district whereas the toppers of intermediate will be provided Rs. 12,000/-

Biggest Scholarship in Pakistan

Up till now, no scholarship plan has been initiated at such a wide-scale to facilitate and encourage the students. Through this scholarship program, the students will be able to grab the growing opportunities announced by the government. According to the federal minister for science and technology, the directives have been issued for the implementation the proposed scholarship program. 

Scholarships For Schools

Fawad Chaudhry has also declared the plan to initiate the scholarship plan for the students going to schools with the vision to produce the best scientists across the country. In this regard he has directed the authorities to select the top ten students from the science schools and the government will offer the scholarships to the eligible candidates by providing them the opportunities so that they can excel in their respective careers. For this purpose, the government will select the 450 schools that would be provided the opportunity for science education and approximately 30 to 40 thousand can be made scientists and could be able play a significant role in the progression of the country.
