Examination Schedule For Students Of Secondary, Higher Secondary and Middle Classes Has Been Announced

The examination schedule has been announced for the students enrolled in secondary, higher secondary, and middle classes. The decision regarding the commencement of exams had been taken in the inter-provincial meeting of the education ministers. It has been announced that a schedule has been devised for all the students and the exams will be conducted according to the issued schedule. Due to the ongoing situation of the pandemic, there might be a change in the announced examination schedule and in such case; the candidates will be informed about the revised schedule for the exams. 

Exam Schedule 

According to the notification issued, the annual exams of the 5th and 8th classes will be held from 18th May 2021. However, the exams of the first; fourth, sixth, and seventh classes will be commenced from 1st June 2021. After the reopening of the educational institutes, the students will attend the classes on regular basis. It has been ensured that there will be strict implementation of SOPs in all the schools, colleges, and universities.

Resumption of Academic Activities

According to the concerned officials, the schools for the students of grades prep to 8th will remain closed till 28th April 2021 due to the upsurge in the number of coronavirus cases. However, it has been directed to the schools to complete the coursework of the students through the online classes and the students have to attend the online lectures as per the instructions provided by the school authorities. The classes for the students of matric and intermediate will be resumed from 19th April 2021. The Punjab boards committee of chairpersons has also issued the schedule for the annual exams of matric and intermediate. As per the notification, the exams of SSC and HSSC will be held from 25th May 2021 and 3rd July 2021 respectively.
