The leaked entry test paper was being sold openly in Dadu, Hyderabad and Larkana. Federal Investigation bureau has arrested many individuals who were connected with this matter. It is not the first time that the paper has leaked in Sindh. The leaked paper was of entry test for admissions in medical colleges of province of Sindh.

Sindh National Testing Service Head, Syed Masood Husaain Rizvi has stated , “The news of paper being leaked has been circulating for week now, “The paper that was being distributed is old, Ignore the date that is mentioned on the paper that was being sold," Rizvi asserted while talking to Geo News.

The Vice Chancellor’s of two renowned medical colleges of Sindh have denied any responsibility with the leaked paper. Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) Vice Chancellor Dr Tariq Rafi has said, “It is the responsibility of NTS to prepare and transport the tests to centers’.”

Liaquat Medical University vice chancellor second Rafi's statement and said, "We have nothing to do with the leak as the test is overlooked by NTS."

As per the reports in Media, the paper got leaked late at night on 27th, October and it went viral on social media apps, especially in whatsapp, it was being forwarded to students all over Sindh. Nearly 10 people have been arrested in connection with this leakage.

However, the test was conducted according to schedule in five centers’ of Sindh at Sukkur, Larkana, Karachi, Nawabshah and Hyderabad which started at 10:05 am and ended at 12:05am. The news of leaked paper caused disturbance among parents and students. The VC’s of JSMU and LMU have commented to the media that they are not being contacted by any FIA official regarding this matter and there are no arrests of NTS and University officials being made.

More than, 25,000 medical students from all over Sindh appeared in NTS test conducted on Sunday at NED university. It was first ever entry test being conducted uniformly for public and private medical universities. Sindh NTS Operations In-charge Muhammad Khurram denied any report of leakage of paper. He told the media that the papers arrived in sealed form from NTS head office in Islamabad via plane for every 600 students, and the test material can only be opened through a code exclusively known to the in-charge one hour before the test starts.

He further added, after the tests are being conducted they are sealed again in the same manner and are sent to Islamabad along with a member of every medical, private or public university, who travel with the box. “Our result scanning facility is also based in Islamabad.”

8,329 students from Karachi, 7,880 students from Hyderabad, 1,499 students from Nawabshah, 3,559 students from Larkana and 3,714 students from Sukkur appeared in the entry test. The NTS operation in-charge said, “The test started at the same time in all cities. The questions are generated randomly.” The test was in accordance standards set by international education service and the difficulty level was 40%.
