Directorate of Public Information Proposed Plan To Include New Subjects in Curriculum of Government Colleges

The directorate of public information has proposed a plan to include new subjects in the curriculum of the government colleges. It has been said that by considering the current academic requirements this decision has been taken so that the students can get the basic knowledge of the various subjects. As per the plan, 10 new subjects such as D-pharmacy, software engineering, food nutrition, and many other subjects will be introduced into the syllabus. In this regard, the preparations have been made and the proposal has been sent to the higher education commission of Pakistan.

New Subjects In Syllabus

The proposed plan will be implemented once finalized by the higher education commission. Initially, the new subjects will be taught in the colleges of Lahore and later on, they will become the part of the syllabus of other colleges as well. The main purpose is to facilitate the students by making them aware of the recent trends and developments in the various educational fields.
