Different Institutions Collaborated To Make The Telemedicine Services Effective

With the advancement of technology many fields have been developed up till now, the same goes for the field of medicine where the use of telemedicine services has opened a new pathway in the health facilities. It allows the doctors to get the proper care of the patient by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating them. Telemedicine is also referred to as healing from the distance because patients do not need to visit the doctor in person. It is useful for treating a variety of health issues by delivering effective services to patients.

Agreement Between Institutions

Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, University of Health Sciences, and Akhuwat Foundation signed an agreement to work for making the telemedicine service effective. This step is taken to provide the best telemedicine services to all the people that need it. The basic purpose is to facilitate the patients so that they can get the treatment easily without visiting the hospital. Moreover, the stipend will be also provided to the young doctors who will work in the centers of telemedicine services.

Funds For The Project

To run this project, a certain amount is required that will make it possible to operate this smoothly. For this Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund announced to provide the funds of 2.5 crores for complete this project. Telemedicine is accessible and affordable in many cases and is also changing the trend in the field of medicine. UHS, PPAF, and Akhuwat Foundation have taken a good initiative to bring advancement in the health services through this agreement. Hoping this collaboration will pave the pathway towards more success in the health care facilities.
