BISE Peshawar launches new system to send result to students

Peshawar: For the very first time, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar (BISE Peshawar) has introduced a new system where the aspirants of matric and intermediate level will be informed regarding their results through SMS on their cell phones.

BISE Peshawar has also introduced an online retotaling system with the help of which any aspirant can submit an online application without visiting the board office.

Earlier, when the board announced the result, the aspirants checked it the following day in the gazettes available at book shops as well as at the other places with every student having to fork out Rs 50 to Rs 100.

Likewise, the aspirants visited boards for retotaling where they had to wait in a long row for hours because the board could not appropriately manage the high number of aspirants because of the shortage of staff.

For the facilitation of both aspirants as well as the board, the BISE has started 3 new systems, sending results on cell phones of students via messages totally free, applying online for retotaling as well as receiving details of marks sheet on the results day from their respective institutes.

For the online procedure for retotaling marks, the documents issued by the BISE Peshawar board revealed that a fee of Rs 500/- per paper will have to be deposited in the nearest Allied Bank before submitting the online application.

After depositing the fee, the candidate should visit the official website of BISE Peshawar board and fill the online retotaling form.

While talking to the media sources, the chairperson of BISE Peshawar board Prof Dr Fazlur Rehman said, “To inform students regarding the new initiatives, the board send two messages on 150,000 mobile numbers of aspirants on Monday.”
