Karachi, The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part 1 for the annual exams have been announced by the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK) controller of examinations Muhammad Imran Khan Chishti. 

 
According to the statistics, as many as 9,724 candidates appeared in the inter Part 1 exam and out of them 3,699 passed all six papers, 2,762 passed five, 1,527 passed four, 883 passed three, 493 passed two while 251 succeeded in just one paper. 
 
The board has also declared the results of Inter Part 1 of same exam organized for special candidates in which 67 candidates could successfully pass the all papers.
 
BIEK Karachi is responsible to organize manipulates exams according to the set schedule in a fair and impartial way. The board was established in 1974 and since then it is organizing exams for secondary and higher secondary level and also review the other activities which can be helpful in physical, moral and spiritual development of the college students.
 
Governor of Sindh or his applicant handles all the affairs of BIEK Karachi. Initially there were only 17 officers and 113 officials and with the passage of time the network has been expanded to 51 officers and 246 officials. BIEK Karachi is making steps to improve curricular and co-curricular activities. It is well known because of its timely and obvious organization of examinations, announcement of results and conduction of workshops,seminars and quiz competitions for students.
