Allama Iqbal Open University, AIOU is an educational body offers distant learning to students. The university is offering education from lower to higher education level. Every year the university conducts the final examination in between March and April and offers admission after conducting the examination session. But, this year a sudden change has come to see in the schedule of AIOU. New Schedule For Matric And Inter Admission
According to the new admission schedule, students will be able to send the applications for AIOU admission in matric and AIOU admission in inter until April 15th, 2020. On Tuesday, the university has announced that all the interested students will be able to enroll themselves for the spring semester 2020 before the postulated date. The decision has taken to compensate the regular students who are stuck up at their homes to follow the quarantine process due to the Covid-19 breakout.
Other Changes Made By AIOU
Professor Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum, the Vice-Chancellor of the university has also announced that for the convenience of the students the deadline for fee submission has also extended. All the regular and newcomer students will be allowed to pay the late fee without paying extra charges or fine. The report was finally announced by Mian Muhammad Riaz, Director Admissions of the University. All the banks are informed to collect the fee from students until April 15th, 2020.
