Latest Admission in Sharif College of Engineering and Technology SCET 2025

Sharif College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) Lahore is offering 2025 admission for undergraduate computer science and engineering programs under the aegis of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore and recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). SCET offers green campus learning environment with modern facilities such as well facilitated labs, purpose designed campus, and transport and hostel facilities. The college aims to impart quality education and produce graduates fit for professional life. 

Admission Process

The admission procedure in SCET is a multi-step process. Candidates are requested to submit their application first online from the official college website. Once the application is submitted, candidates must appear in the Engineering College Admission Test (ECAT) held by UET Lahore. Admission is provided on the merit formula basis with regard to 70% of the candidate's FSc. marks and 30% of the candidate's ECAT marks. The last merit list is prepared accordingly. It must be pointed out that the college does not have a special quota or reserved seats, and admissions are purely based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria

For being eligible to apply for SCET, students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent degree with 60% or more marks. The requirements also differ according to the program. For example, students applying for the Electrical Engineering course should have appeared for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, whereas students applying for admission to Computer Science should have appeared for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or Computer Science. Furthermore, the applicants should appear for the ECAT and achieve a minimum aggregate of 50% to be admitted.
