The Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotics (PIPOS) now invites applications for its new academic session. At our institution, PIPOS, we stand ready to offer appropriate educational training needed to produce professional practitioners in the area of prosthetics and orthotics. Attaching both theory and skills training, PIPOS is aimed at raising the standard of living for the physically-impaired mobilities.

Admission Process

The following are the admission criteria for candidates willing to apply for admission to PIPOS; it is expected that the candidate possess a minimum of intermediate education in a related course, such as Pre-Medical or Science. This involves having a properly filled application form and accompanying documents, which include transcripts and identification documents. Students may also be subjected to the test that checks ones basic understanding of science before admitting him to the school so that only deserving ones gain admission.

Programs Offered

PIPOS provide different diploma and degree courses specifically in design, fabrication and fitting of artificial limbs. To cover all aspects of biomechanics, materials science, clinical practices the curriculum is organized. Besides, practical learning is pursued in students’ advantage through workshops and practical internships in clinics.
