Latest Admission in Govt Training College for Teachers of DEAF Lahore 2026

Government Teacher Training College for the Deaf (GTCTD), Lahore has shared the good news that admissions are open for 2026. The college will be reopening admissions to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Honours in Special Education degree and the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Speech & Language Therapy. The programs are designed to provide the educational preparation that TBC require, including knowledge and skills, to prepare teachers to educate hearing impaired children. The college has a partnership with University of Education, Lahore, so you can count on the quality of course delivery. All students are encouraged to apply earlier rather than later, so that they can occupy a place in one of these courses.

Admission Process

Application for the B.Ed. Honors in Special Education or PGD in Speech & Language Therapy, candidates must complete the prescribed application forms. For PGD in Speech & Language Therapy, candidates must possess Master's degree in Special Education (M.A/M.Ed), Psychology (M.Sc), or some other related degree, or should have cleared one-year diploma in Teaching the Deaf. For these programs as well, admissions are on open merit, and achieving the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission.
